Everest Base Camp Trek
The stunning 35-minute flight between Kathmandu and Lukla takes us to the gateway of the Everest region. We explore the abundance of diverse flora and fauna in the surrounding of Lukla and Namche. The Tengboche Monastery gives visitors an up-close view of the incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. In addition, the group will be taken to observe prayer ceremonies. Traverse the friendly Sherpa villages and Buddhist monasteries, the plain of Gorakshep and the broad summit of Mt. Kalapatthar, the most accessible point from which to view Mt. Everest from the base. The views from Kalapatthar include a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding mountain peaks. Itinerary
Day 01- Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters).
Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be displaying an Dream Guides Nepal signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transffered to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.
Note: If you arrive after 4pm you would be briefed by our airport representative/guide about tomorrow’s (Day 02) sightseeing activities on the way to hotel and then the pre trip meeting would be held after the sightseeing tour next day. But if you arrive earlier than 4PM your pre trip meeting would be done on that very day either at our office or at your hotel as per your requirement. During your pre trip meeting we would introduce you to your leader/guide once you are back from the sightseeing. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your trek. We will also supply you with our trek Duffel Bag, T-shirt and a Cap. For the meeting, please make sure you bring passport, three copies of passport-size photos, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance, if any, and sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02- Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.
After a hearty breakfast, at 8.30 am your sightseeing trip will start. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at your disposal. Today we will visit some heritages listed below:
Pashupatinath: Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River.Though you are not allowed to go inside the temple as it is strictly for Hindus only, you can clearly see the temple and the activities from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River.It is a square two tiered pagoda temple built on a single tier pinth which is famous all over the world.
Boudhanath: Boudhananath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu.It was built in 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings.You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Royal Residential Quarter of Bhupatindra Malla,famous five-storied temple of Nyatapola in Pagoda style Batsala temple,Bhairavnath temple,Duttatraya temple,Pujari Muth and Palace of 55 windows.
The rest of our time in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and some last-minute shopping in Thamel area near by your hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03- Fly to Lukla (2,804m/9,199ft) trek to Manjo (2,825m / 9,268ft) 3.5 hours.
An early morning start takes us to Tribhuwan international Airport in Kathmandu for the 35-minute scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla at 2804m/9,199ft. On arrival at the airport guide will brief you and introduce our porters before our trek begins towards Manjo (2835 m/9,268ft.)
After landing we have time to explore the village while our Sherpa crew sort and load our trekking equipment. Then we begin our trek by descending towards the Dudh Kosi River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2713m/8,900ft). The walking is easy and after passing through the small village of Ghat (2550m/8,366ft) it is a short walk to Phakding then to Manjo. Day 04- Trek to Namche Bazaar (11,286ft)
We'll follow the forested trail north up the Dudh Kosi valley to Jorsale, where we officially enter Sagarmatha (Mount Everest) National Park, established in 1976 as the first national park in the Himalaya to help protect an area of great environmental, religious, and cultural importance. (Sagarmatha National Park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.) We continue along the trail, crossing the Dudh Kosi and begin the steep climb up “Namche Hill,” amidst lovely forests of rhododendron, fir, and magnolia, to the Sherpa market town of Namche Bazaar. As we climb the steep hillside, we catch our first glimpse of Everest and the snowcapped panorama of Himalayan giants to come. Namche Bazaar is the unofficial capital of the Khumbu, the local center for trading and supplies. The town, filled with numerous homes, trekker's inns, shops, and a small monastery, is beautifully situated in a terraced amphitheater facing the hanging glacier below Kwangde (20,293'). We’ll check in to our lodge and have the afternoon free to explore Namche Bazaar(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included) (4-5 hours hiking)
Day 05- Trek to Tashinga (3,380m / 11,089ft) 5 hours.
We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering Sagamartha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar known as the Gateway to Everest which is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange, internet cafe and a bakery. Namche is one of the biggest villages along the whole Everest trail. From Namche it will take another one hour gentle walking to Tashinga.Overnight at Everest Summit Lodge-Accomodation with attached Toilet and Bathroom

Day 06- Trek to Pangboche(3,930m / 12,893ft) 5 hours.
The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with magnificent views of the mountains. We trek to an altitude of 3,930m / 12,893ft today. On reaching Tengboche you will see the local monastery. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. From Tengboche the trail drops to Debuche, crosses another exciting suspension bridge on the Imja Khola, and climbs to Pangboche village. Day 07- Trek to Dingboche (4350 m / 14,271ft) 5.30 hours.
Our uphill trek continues, taking us to the quaint traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche with its exquisite views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. We take our time so we avoid getting affected by the altitude. Overnight at Family Lodge-Accomodation with attached Toilet and Bathroom.

Day 08- Trek to Chhukung (4710m / 15,452ft) and trek back to Dingboche - 4.5 hrs.
On this day you can enjoy another day for acclimatization. We will have trip to Chhukung valley via the Imja Khola valley to get a marvellous view of the surrounding mountains, especially Lhotse’s massive south wall, then return to Dingboche in the evening. Overnight at Family Lodge-Accomodation with attached Toilet and Bathroom.

Day 09- Trek to Lobuche (4,910m / 16,108ft) 5 hours.
Today, the trail continues along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and passes by stone memorials for climbers who have perished on nearby summits.We continue to climb as we are heading to the altitude of 4,910m / 16,018ft at Lobuche, which is really just a few huts at the foot of giant Lobuche peak. Some breathing problems may arise today due to the altitude. Overnight at Eco Lodge-Accomodation without attached Toilet and Bathroom.

Day 10- Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 m / 17,601ft)then back to Gorak Shep (5180 m / 16,994 ft.). 8 hour
This is the big and difficult day walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp at 5365m / 17,601ft. , the closest you can get to Mt. Everest without mountaineering equipment. The view of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is spectacular. We return back to Gorak shep for the night. Overnight at Snow land Inn Lodge-Accomodation without attached Toilet and Bathroom.

Day 11- Hike up to Kalapatthar (5555m / 18,225ft) early in the morning and trek down to Pangboche. 7 hours
This will be another big and rewarding day of the trek. Most of morning in this day is spent climbing Mt. Kalapatthar, a small peak (by Himalayan standards) at 5555m / 18,225ft. The ascent is demanding but the climber gets the most magnificent mountain panorama: Everest, the highest point on the planet at 29,028ft, 8848meters, towers directly ahead and on all sides loom the other giants, Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse and countless others. We make a quick descent to Gorak Shep, a tiny hamlet at 5180 meters then trek down to Pangboche village. Overnight at Everest Summit Lodge-Accomodation with attached Toilet and Bathroom.

Day 12- Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441m / 11,289 ft) 5.30 hours.
From Pangboche, leaving mountains behind us our descent takes us through Tengboche Monastery at elevation of 3,860m / 12,664ft before continuing back to the town of Namche Bazaar at 3441m / 11,289ft. We arrive back into Namche Bazaar in the afternoon. Overnight at Yeti Mountain Home-Accomodation with attached Toilet and Bathroom.

Day 13- Trek to Lukla (2,804m / 9,199ft) 6 hours.
Finally we return to Lukla where the trek began, which will seem like a lifetime ago. Enjoying time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. Also giving you time to explore the town. Overnight at yeti Mountain Home-Accomodation with attached Toilet and Bathroom.

Day 14- Morning flight back to Kathmandu.
Enjoying your last glimpse of the mountains you have recently visited for one last time on the 35 minute scenic flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu you are transferred back to our starting hotel. Overnight at Hotel Yak and Yeti or similar class five star hotel.

Day 15- Leisure day and farewell dinner in Kathmandu.
It's also spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla. If you are interested in continuing on to Chitwan Jungle Safari, River Rafting Adventure, Kathmandu Shopping Tour you can start today. Please read our trip note about Lukla flight below. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances. (Your guide(s) and an office staff will accompany you). Overnight at Hotel Yak and Yeti or similar class five star hotel.

Day 16- Transfer to the airport for your final flight departure.
The trip concludes – our airport representative will drop you to Kathmandu’s Tribhuwan International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
